Twice a year special exhibitions with works of other artists, relating in various ways to Käthe Kollwitz, are being shown.

The museum's holdings contain 200 drawings and graphic works, several of which are well-known, for example

the lithography Brot! (1924), as well as 15 original posters and the same number of sculptures.

The collection of self-portraits (1888/89 - 1938) as well as the woodcut series Krieg (1922/23), works relating to the

theme of Tod (1903 - 1942) and finally the Gedenkblatt für Karl Liebknecht (1919/20), emphasize in particular the

fine quality of this collection.
